É domingo à tarde no Hill Park.
Part One. Look at the picture. Listen and look. There is one example.
ANNA: It's Sunday, and Hill Park is full of people!
TOM: Yes. Can you see the woman on the seat? She's reading a book.
ANNA: The woman with the long hair?
TOM: That's right. That's Miss Hill. She reads in the park every Sunday.
ANNA: Oh yes, I can see her.
TOM: Can you see the line? This is an example. Now you listen and draw lines.
TOM: Look at the boy next to the water.
ANNA: The boy with the bike?
TOM: No. Look — that boy is sitting next to the lake. He's fishing. That's Daniel.
ANNA: Daniel! Has he got a fish?
TOM: No! But he's happy.
ANNA: Sam is here too. Can you see him? He's riding his bike.
TOM: The boy on the bike, next to the trees? He's going very fast!
ANNA: Yes, that's Sam. He's always fast.
TOM: Who's that girl? She's got roller skates on.
ANNA: The girl with the red T-shirt? That's Zoe. She's roller skating.
TOM: She's very good!
ANNA: Where's Ben? Is he skipping?
TOM: No, Ben isn't skipping. He's playing badminton with a friend.
ANNA: Oh yes! I can see him. Look at him jump!
TOM: And there's a girl with an ice cream. A big ice cream!
ANNA: That's Amy. It's chocolate ice cream — her favourite.
TOM: She's eating it very quickly!
TOM: Now listen again.
Como ler esta parte. Nesta parte a voz nunca diz só o nome.
A pegadinha desta parte é o “no”.
Você vai ouvir o Daniel e a Zoe falando do bicho novo dela.
ZOE'S NEW PET
Kind of animal: parrot (exemplo — já preenchido)
6 Name: ______
7 Age: ______ years old
8 Colour: ______
9 It likes eating: ______
10 It sleeps in Zoe's: ______
Part Two. Listen and write. There is one example.
TOM (Daniel): Zoe, have you got a new pet?
ANNA (Zoe): Yes! It's a parrot. A beautiful parrot.
TOM: A parrot! P-A-R-R-O-T.
ANNA: That's right.
TOM: Can you see the answer? Now you listen and write.
TOM: What's your parrot's name?
ANNA: Her name is Pepper.
TOM: How do you spell that?
ANNA: P-E-P-P-E-R. Pepper.
TOM: And how old is she?
ANNA: She's two. Two years old. She's young.
TOM: What colour is she? Green?
ANNA: No, she isn't green. She's grey.
TOM: Grey. OK.
TOM: What does she like eating?
ANNA: She loves grapes. She eats a lot of grapes every day.
TOM: Grapes! And where does she sleep? In the kitchen?
ANNA: No, she sleeps in my bedroom. In a big cage next to my bed.
TOM: In your bedroom! Does she talk?
ANNA: No, but she can sing!
TOM: Now listen again.
Duas armadilhas moram aqui. A primeira é o chute do Daniel (Green? In the kitchen?): a Zoe diz “no” e a resposta vem depois.
Part Three. Where did Amy go on each day of her holiday? Listen and write a letter in each box. There is one example.
TOM: Amy, did you have a good holiday?
ANNA (Amy): Yes! It was great. Every day we went to a different place.
TOM: Where did you go on Monday?
ANNA: On Monday we went to the library. I got three new books.
TOM: Can you see the letter D? This is an example. Now you listen and write a letter in each box.
TOM: What did you do on Tuesday?
ANNA: On Tuesday it rained all day. We wanted to go to the beach, but we couldn't. So we went to the cinema and saw a film about a horse.
TOM: And on Wednesday?
ANNA: On Wednesday my aunt took us to her farm. I gave the goats some food and I rode a horse!
TOM: Did you go to the zoo?
ANNA: No, my aunt's farm. There were a lot of animals there too.
TOM: What about Thursday?
ANNA: On Thursday we went to the sports centre.
TOM: Did you swim?
ANNA: No, I played table tennis with my brothers all afternoon. I won!
TOM: And Friday?
ANNA: Friday was hot, so we went to the beach at last. I swam in the sea and we had a picnic.
TOM: And on Saturday?
ANNA: On Saturday we walked to the market, because my grandma wanted some flowers. There were a lot of people.
TOM: Now listen again.
Espere o lugar. Ele chega depois de went to the, took us to ou walked to the — e às vezes só depois de um but ou de um no.
Faça nesta ordem.
Duas armadilhas moram aqui. A primeira é o lugar que ela queria (we wanted to go to the beach, but…): não é a resposta daquele dia. A segunda é a pergunta do Tom que recebe “no” (Did you go to the zoo? Did you swim?)
Part Four. Listen and tick the box. There is one example.
TOM: Zoe, is your cousin here? Is he the boy with the baseball cap?
ANNA (Zoe): No, that's his friend.
TOM: The boy with curly hair?
ANNA: No — my cousin's hair is straight. He's the boy with the glasses. Look, he's next to the door.
ANNA: Does the film start at four, Sam?
TOM (Sam): No, it starts at five. But let's go at four, because there are always a lot of people.
ANNA: OK. And does it finish at six?
TOM: No, at seven. It's a long film!
ANNA: Sam, what happened? Did you hurt your leg?
TOM (Sam): No, my leg's fine. I fell off my bike.
ANNA: Is it your hand?
TOM: No. It's my arm. It hurts a lot.
TOM: Amy, do you want to be a teacher, like your mum?
ANNA (Amy): No! Last year I wanted to be a pop star. But now I want to be a nurse, because I want to help people.
TOM: A nurse! That's great.
TOM (Daniel): Miss Hill, must we bring a hat to the swimming pool tomorrow?
ANNA (Miss Hill): No, Daniel. We're inside, so you don't need a hat. But you must bring a towel.
TOM: And some fruit?
ANNA: No, don't bring any fruit. We have lunch at school after that.
TOM: Now listen again.
Cace as quatro.
Part Five. Look at the picture. Listen and colour and write. There is one example.
ANNA: This is a picture of the beach. Can you see the bag next to the towel?
TOM: Yes, I can.
ANNA: Colour the bag blue.
TOM: The bag. OK, blue.
ANNA: Can you see the blue bag? This is an example. Now you listen and colour and write.
ANNA: Now look at the sea. There's a boat.
TOM: A small boat. Yes.
ANNA: Colour the boat red, please.
TOM: A red boat. OK.
ANNA: Now can you see the girl with the big hat?
TOM: Yes. Shall I colour the hat?
ANNA: Yes. Colour it pink.
TOM: Pink. That's a nice hat.
ANNA: There's a ball near the water.
TOM: I can see it. What colour?
ANNA: Colour the ball orange.
TOM: Orange. OK.
ANNA: Now look at the sky. There are two clouds.
TOM: A big one and a small one.
ANNA: Colour the big cloud grey.
TOM: The big cloud. Grey. OK.
ANNA: One more. Can you see the towel?
TOM: Yes — there's nothing on it.
ANNA: Write 'beach' on the towel, please. B-E-A-C-H.
TOM: B-E-A-C-H. Beach. Finished!
ANNA: Now listen again.
A coisa vem primeiro, a cor vem no fim.
A armadilha desta parte é o par: a nuvem grande e a nuvem pequena.
